Arrests
Reckless driving, attempting to elude, carrying pistol without a permit — Nicholas Blair Handley, 26, of Cullman arrested on County Road 222 at County Road 469.
Public intoxication-controlled substance — Vanessa Marie Robinson, 31, of Cullman arrested on 4th Ave. SE.
Unlawful distribution of a controlled substance (2 counts) — Benjamin Jabron Little, 32, of Vinemont arrested at the Cullman County Detention Center.
Unlawful distribution of a controlled substance (2 counts) — Clinton Alem Weaver, 23, of Cullman arrested on 24th St. SE.
Criminal mischief, reckless endangerment (2 counts) — David G. Ayala, 48, of Cullman arrested at the Cullman County Detention Center.
Incidents
Counterfeit currency — Taco Bell, Highway 157, counterfeit-$10 bill.
Receiving stolen property — State of Alabama, White Circle SW, miscellaneous cards, bolt cutters, checkbook, black bag, various papers-$40, arrest made.
Harassing communications — Industrial Park Road SW.
Carrying a pistol without a permit, attempt to elude, reckless driving — State of Alabama, County Road 222 at County Road 469, EIG Derringer pistol-$150, arrest made.
Public intoxication-controlled substance — City of Cullman, 4th Ave. SE, arrest made.

Assault-police simple — Robin Wiley arrested in Cullman.
Child abuse-aggravated family — Robert Clayton arrested at the Cullman County Courthouse.
Theft of property, sex offender-failure to register — Donald Ceroni.
Unlawful possession of drugs — Brant Evans arrested at the Cullman County Courthouse.
Theft of property, forgery-checks — Helen Hutto, arrested at the Cullman County Courthouse.
Unlawful possession of drugs — Karen Rangel arrested at the Cullman County Courthouse.
Bail jumping — Rebecca Henson.
Cruelty to animals — James Reeves arrested at the Cullman County Courthouse.
Cruelty to animals — Carolyn Reeves arrested at the Cullman County Courthouse.
Failure to appear/comply/pay — Benjamin Sloan.
Non-support of a child — Frank Fletcher arrested at the Joppa four-way.
Failure to register as an ex felon/lewd act — Donald Ceroni.

Chamber seeking full-time tourism director; creates new board
The Cullman Area Chamber of Commerce is ramping up its focus on tourism, and is now seeking a full-time tourism director. The agency has also created a new, 11-person tourism board to focus solely on promoting travel and tourism in the area.
Plans to add a full-time tourism director have been in the works for almost a year, in cooperation with the City of Cullman and Cullman County Commission. -
