The Cullman city council will meet today at noon. The meeting was rescheduled due to upcoming travel plans among council members.

Weather: Mostly sunny, with a high near 52. North wind 5 to 10 mph. Weather is expected to continue warming as we head into the weekend, eventually settling into the mid-to-high 60s.

Upcoming event: Sacred Heart School’s students will present the play, “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” at 6:30 p.m. Friday, March 8, and Saturday, March 9, in the school cafeteria. Tickets are limited: $5 and are available at the door. All proceeds benefit school’s needs.
