HOLLY POND — Nearly two weeks after their opening in Baileyton, certified nurse practitioner Susan Stapp and medical assistant Brandy Owen have opened a second clinic.

Stapp and Owen began seeing patients at their Holly Pond location last week.

"We're glad to finally have it open and operating," Stapp said.

The clinic, which is located at 111 Brooklyn Road just past the town post office, is open from 8 a.m. until noon Monday through Friday. For the time being, Stapp said the clinic encourages appointments to be made by calling 256-736-3084, however walks-ins are welcome.

"We're really open right now," Stapp said. "We're welcoming everybody.

Holly Pond mayor Herman Nail feels the clinic will be a great new addition to the community.

“I encourage everybody to come out and see what we have,” Nail said. “You’ll be amazed when you look inside and see what we have.

“It’s going to be a good thing for the eastern part of Cullman County,” Nail added. “People will be able to be closer to home and not have to go to town and wait for hours.”

An open house is scheduled from 2 - 4 p.m. Saturday for residents to stop by and meet the staff.
