A local man died early Tuesday afternoon in a construction accident in the Vinemont area.
Contractor Kenneth Ball, of Cullman, died Tuesday at approximately 11 a.m. after falling from a building in a residential area on County Road 1223.
“He was installing a fourth floor window when the scaffolding collapsed,” Cullman County Coroner Gary Murphree said.
Murphree said Ball was killed by injuries sustained during the fall.
“He suffered massive head and body trauma,” he said.
Ball was pronounced dead at the scene.
Another man was injured when the scaffolding fell, though his name was unavailable.
Arrangements for Ball are being handled by Moss-Service Funeral Home.
