Authorities arrested four people in separate drug-related cases since last week.
The most recent case involved residents on Young Street NW in Cullman. Arrested and charged with manufacture of a controlled substance were Clinton Cornelious Baker, 54, Jeffrey Eugene Ford, 40, and Kendall Anne Marie Ford, 33, all of Cullman, said Cullman Police Department’s Gene Bates, who was working through the Cullman Narcotics Enforcement Team (CNET).
The arrests were made Saturday after officers answered a call of domestic issue at the residence. After arriving at the scene, the officers sought permission to expand the search and found equipment that is consistent with the manufacture of methamphetamine, said Bates.
“It was deemed that the lab was inactive at the time. If it had been active it would have been a mess because it was in an apartment,” Bates said.
Those arrested in the case were taken to the Cullman County Detention Center. Bond has been set at $1 million each because of the manufacturing charge.
