Those with questions may contact the Road Department office at 256-796-2266.

Rick Henry, Superintendent of the Street Department in the City of Cullman, reports that there will be patching crews on old Hanceville Highway, just south of Sheraton Road; on Rosemont northwest; and on 5th Street southeast by the Busy Bee restaurant. Also, the Department will close 9th St. between 3rd and 4th avenues, as a construction crew will be tearing down an old building behind the middle school.

A little less heat in our day, partly sunny, with a high near 91. A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Calm wind around 5 mph this morning. We’ll have warm evening with a low around 71 degrees, with calm wind and a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms.
