ARSEA: The Cullman Chapter of the Alabama Retired State Employees’ Association will meet at 10 a.m. at Cullman County POB, 402 Arnold St. NE, Cullman 35055. SEIB Wellness Screenings will be available at 9:30 a.m. Blue Cross/Blue Shield cards with group nos.: 13,000; 30,000; 14,000; 81,000 and 61,000 will be able to participate.

Community forum on Broadband connectivity: The Alabama Cooperative Extension System offices of Cullman and Winston County would like to invite you to a community forum to discuss Broadband Internet Connectivity concerns in the more rural areas with few and/or poor connectivity options. This event will be held at the Bernice Hilton Walker Building at Traders and Farmers Bank in Double Springs, just off Highway 278 on Main Street. The meeting will be from 10:30 a.m. to noon today.

The goal of this forum is to engage individuals and exchange ideas about how increased access to broadband technologies would change your community, weigh the cost and benefits of those changes, and engage others to develop broadband adoption strategies.
