Cullman City Schools’ superintendent search: 5 finalists announced

The five finalists for the Cullman City Schools’ superintendent position has been announced.

Chosen by the Alabama Association of School Boards (AASB) search committee, the finalists will now move forward into an interview phase beginning next week. Officials are working now to finalize the schedule, which should be announced on Wednesday.

The list includes on assistant superintendent, two principals and two central office employees. The list does not include any sitting superintendents.

Here are the finalists:

Dr. Doreen Griffeth. Cobb County Schools Area Assistant Superintendent; Marietta, Georgia.

Dr. Graig Ross. Robertsdale High School Principal; Daphne, Alabama.

Dr. Donald Snow. Austin High School Principal; Decatur, Alabama.

Dr. Sandra Spivey. Director of Secondary Education, Madison County School System; Huntsville, Alabama.

Dr. Jason Wright. Director of Student Services and Federal Programs, Lee County Schools; Opelika, Alabama.
