Formal gown consignment sale: The Fairview High School Key Club will hold a formal gown consignment sale for girls birth through adults, today and Saturday, in the school auditorium, 841 Welcome Road, Cullman 35058. Cost to participate is $10. Key Club will keep 25 percent of all sales for the school.

‘Dessert tasting - then dinner’ fundraiser: Want to have your cake before dinner and eat it, too? Well, the Sardis Baptist Church’s mission teams decided you should get that chance. The teams are raising funds for a mission trip and are offering a dessert tasting evening - before dinner. Just drop by the Trimble Community Center (7744 County Road 813, Cullman 35057) from 2 to 7 p.m. and enjoy as many desserts as you’d like - for only $1 a taste. Then, enjoy a Swamp John’s dinner for only $10/plate. Bring family, bring friends and bring your appetite.
