1 injured in morning accident

A two vehicle fender-bender occurred at 11:15 a.m. at the intersection of U.S. Highway 278 and Third Avenue NE on Monday.

Gary McClellan of Cullman was transported to the hospital from the scene of the accident by Cullman EMS.

After yielding to a passing fire truck, McClellan, who was traveling west bound, was struck by a 1999 Jeep Cherokee driven by Barbie Wilson of Arley. McClellan was driving a 1994 Dodge truck. No other injuries were reported.
