Traffic:

The Cullman City Street Department will have a patch crew working on 5th Ave. SE and West Main Ave.

 

Weather:

Scattered showers throughout the day with a cool temp of 46 this morning, looking at a high of 50 later on; and cloudy with a few showers tonight.

Best bets:

County Commission On Education: The Commission will meet for a workshop at 6 p.m. today in the Central Office Board Room, 402 Arnold St. NE, Cullman 35055.

Democrat luncheon: The Cullman County Democrats will hold a lunch meeting at 11:30 a.m. today at Ryan’s Family Steakhouse, 1720 Cherokee AVe. SW, Cullman 35055.

OA: Overeaters Anonymous will meet at 4:45 p.m. today in the Carriage House at Grace Episcopal Church. Info: 724-376-2124 or 256-352-1143.

Relay For Life team captain meeting: The American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life of Cullman invites team captains to the monthly team captain meetings scheduled for noon and 5:30 p.m. today at First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.

Singing convention: The annual Cullman County Singing convention will be from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 6, at the Senior Citizen building, 1539 Sportsman Lake Rd. NW, Cullman 35055. Covered dish lunch at noon. Anyone may attend.

Yard sale/craft fair at Heritage Park: A community yard sale and craft fair will be Saturday, April 6, at Heritage Park. For more information, contact the park office at 256-739-9931.
