Sacred Heart Church collecting warm weather wear for needy: Members of the St. Vincent dePaul Society of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church are collecting new or gently used coats, jackets, scarves, caps and gloves for those in need during the upcoming cold weather months. Those who’d like to donate may drop off the items at the St. Vincent dePaul office, 201 3rd Ave. SE, Cullman 35055, from 9 a.m. to noon on any Monday, Wednesday or Friday.



Ms. Senior Cullman County pageant: The Board of Directors of this pageant is seeking ladies age 60-plus for the upcoming 2014 pageant in January. Anyone interested in becoming a contestant may contact Lillie Tucker, director, at 256-507-3698 or Hazel Goodwin at 256-739-3358. Deadline to enter is Nov. 1, 2013.
