The Cullman City Street Department will have patch crews at these sites: 9th Ave. SE, 6th St. SE and Maynor Drive SE. Drivers should exercise caution when traveling in these areas.

Tonight: Patchy fog after 1 a.m. Otherwise, partly cloudy, with a low around 58. Calm wind.

Foot health seminar at CRMC: Cullman Regional Medical Center’s WomenFirst & SeniorChoice programs offer offer a lunch and learn seminar on foot health today, in CRMC’s Col. Cullman Room, 1912 AL Highway 157, POB 2, Cullman, AL 35058. Dr. Eric Fillinger of Fillinger Foot Clinic will provide program on surgical reconstructive issues. Registration begins at 11 a.m. followed by lunch and the seminar at 11:30. Cost is $5 for WomenFirst & SeniorChoice members and $8 for others.

Flu shot clinic: The Cullman County Health Department will hold a flu shot clinic from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. today, at the Wallace State Community College’s Wellness Center. Shots will be $5; Medicare is free-must bring Medicare card.

USDRC meeting: The U.S. Disaster Relief Command meets at 6 p.m. today the last Monday of each month at Good Hope Town Hall, 134 Town Hall Drive, Cullman 35057. Volunteers are needed. Those interested are encouraged to attend. Info: J.W. Phillips 256-615-5644.

Small business Health Care law seminar: A Small Business Compliance Seminar will be held at the Chamber’s Charter Business room from 8 to 9:30 a.m. today, Sept. 30, free of charge. This seminar will focus on Small Business reporting requirements. No pre-registration required.
