Swamp John’s meal: The Addison Civitan Club will hold a Swamp John’s meal from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the Addison Community Center, 16391 County Road 41, Addison 35540. All proceeds will go to the civitan club for their community projects.
Flu shot clinics: The Cullman County Health Department will hold flu shot clinics from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. today, in the back parking lot at the health department. Shots will be $5; Medicare is free-must bring Medicare card.
Coffee With A Cop: Dr. Jonathan Echols will host Coffee With A Cop, from 7 to 10 a.m. today, at his office, 311 6th Ave. SE, Cullman 35055. Anyone may attend.
Fish fry: New Hope No. 2 Baptist Church, 2290 County Road 1682, Cullman 35055, will hold a fish filet/chicken finger fry from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28. Donations will go to the church’s building and maintenance fund.
Holly Pond Founders Day: This event will be Saturday, Sept. 28, at Holly Pond Park, 60 Lions Park Road, Holly Pond 35083.
Chili/soup fundraiser: The Dodge City seniors will hold a chili and soup lunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at $1/bowl, during their annual rummage sale at the Dodge City Senior Center, 130 Howard Circle, Hanceville 35077. Proceeds from the lunch will benefit the Seniors Activities Fund.
