2 injured in accidents across Cullman County

CULLMAN — Two people were injured in single-vehicle accidents across Cullman County on Monday and Sunday.

Alabama State Troopers reported that Wayne Carner, 62, of Crane Hill, was injured in a single-car wreck Monday on County Road 222, about one mile south of Logan. The accident occurred at 1:20 p.m.

At 1 a.m. on Sunday, Wesley Poling, 30, of Jefferson City, Tenn., was injured in a wreck involving the tractor-trailer rig he was driving. The accident occurred along Interstate 65 at the 293 mile marker, about one mile north of Hanceville, according to a state trooper report.

Both men were wearing seatbelts, according to troopers. No other details of the accidents were available.
