CULLMAN —
One person has died in a single-car accident in the Union Hill community of Cullman County this afternoon, according to a spokesman for the Alabama State Troopers.
Two other people in the vehicle were airlifted from the scene. The wreck was reported around 3:30 p.m., but troopers and other emergency personnel were still on the scene.
The names and conditions of those invovled in the accident are not available at this time. The trooper spokesman said efforts were under way to contact the victim’s relatives.
Troopers report that the accident occurred on County Road 1834, which is between close to Baileyton and Joppa. No information is available about the cause of the accident as troopers continue to investigate.
