Morning storm knocks out power in Trimble area; repairs under way

CULLMAN — A storm this morning has left about 900 customers in the Trimble area without power.

Crews from the Cullman County Electric Cooperative are repairing a circuit at the Trimble substation that was damaged in the storm, said Brian Lacy, spokesman for the cooperative.

“Most everything from the storm last night is back online, but we’re still getting a few calls of power being out in small pockets that we’re looking into,” Lacy said.
