CULLMAN — Good morning, readers, this is what's happening in your county today:

Traffic:

The Cullman County Street Department will have a patch crew St. Joseph Dr. NW, Hickory Ave. SW, Ward Ave. SW and Ann St. NW.

Weather:

Today: Sunny, with a high near 71. Light north wind becoming northwest 5 to 10 mph in the morning.

Tonight: Clear, with a low around 49. West wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.

Best bets:

Computer classes: The Guy Hunt Library, 60 Lions Park Road, Holly Pond 35083, will hold free computer classes from 1 to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday. Anyone interested may contact the staff at the library at 256-796-5226.

RadKIDS summer camp registration: The Cullman Police Department is now taking registration for the 2013 RadKIDS summer camp, which will be from 9 to 11 a.m. June 24-28 at the McGukin Civic Center. This camp is for boys and girls ages 4 to 10. Class is $5/child for the entire week, to be paid first day of camp. Campers will learn house fire escapes, stranger danger, calling 911 dispatch, Internet safety, protecting themselves from vicious dogs and more.

Consignors wanted for upscale consignment sale: American Legion Auxiliary Unit 114 in Arab will hold a consignment sale June 7-9, at 760 N. Brindlee Mtn. Pkwy, Arab 35016. Consignors are encouraged to bring in their new, like new or gently used items. Needed are maternity, children’s clothes, shoes of all sizes. Children’s furniture and toys must be fully functional and if it takes batteries, they must be included to show proper working order. Will start taking consignments after May 24 by appointment; call numbers included in this brief.

Sales breakdown: Consignor-70 percent; Well Dressed For Less-30 percent.

All proceeds to go to community projects of the American Legion Auxiliary in Arab.
