A Crane Hill man was arrested over the weekend and charged with two counts of unlawful manufacturing of a controlled substance.
Justin Alan Hand, 30, was taken into custody by authorities Friday at the Good Hope Exxon on previous warrants stemming from a visit to Hand’s home, where he was alleged to have been making methamphetamine in the presence of small children.
According to a Cullman Narcotics Enforcement Team (CNET) agent, an anonymous tip to the agency’s meth hotline led authorities to Hand’s home. While there, agents found all the precursors used in making methamphetamine, as well as pseudoephedrine pills, and a small amount of finished product.
The agent said a small amount was also found on him Friday, leading to an additional charge of unlawful possession.
Hand remains in the Cullman County Detention Center on two separate bonds of $2 million and $5,000.
