General admission tickets for the Cullman Area Chamber of Commerce’s 70th anniversary have officially sold out, and organizers are making plans now to accommodate the massive crowd.
The Chamber’s 70th Annual Meeting and Gala is set for 6:30 p.m. Thursday, February 21 in the Atrium at Greenleaf. on Alabama Highway 157. The host site is located across the street from Northbrook Baptist Church.
General tickets sold completely out earlier this week, and organizers say only two silver and gold eight-person sponsor tables remain available for $400 and $500 respectively.
With more than 600 people expected, organizers are encouraging those planning to attend to carpool if possible.
“We’re thrilled to have this problem, but it has caused a dilemma because of limited parking at the Atrium,” Chamber President Leah Bolin said.
Once the Atrium parking lot fills up, all other attendees will be directed to the Northbrook Baptist Church parking lot across the street. The CARTs buses will be running to ferry attendees to the site.
The event will feature a silent auction, documentary video with interviews from past Chamber leaders and a keynote from incoming Chamber chair Melissa Cartee.
