The Cullman water department will be repairing a 30-inch water main at the intersection of Fourth Street and Second Avenue in downtown beginning Thursday.
Officials warn residents may see some discoloration in their water this weekend, and this project would be the cause. A crew will be welding the pipe, a process that could take approximately two days to complete.
The water supply should not be affected for anyone. Any water supply issues should be reported immediately to the water department at (256) 775-7210.
