CULLMAN — A mid-day accident Friday sent two Blount County men to the hospital following a single-vehicle accident west of Interstate 65.

The accident occurred on U.S. Highway 278 one mile west of Cullman at approximately 12:15 p.m. Friday.

Both the driver and passenger of the vehicle, a 2002 Dodge, were transported to Cullmen Regional Medical Center for undisclosed injuries each sustained in the accident.
