Gov. Bentley, local officials welcome Zero RPM at Wallace State (With Video)

HANCEVILLE — Gov. Robert Bentley and a host of local officials just completed introducing a new industry to Cullman County during a press conference at Wallace State Community College.

Zero RPM is operating from a new business incubator program at Wallace State. The company manufactures an idle mitigation system for vehicles, based on a state-of-the-art battery powered technology. The unit allows vehicles to idle for extended periods of time without the use of the engine.

Gov. Bentley said the new business has vast potential and falls in line with the state’s strategy to nurture new investments from the private sector to rebuild the economy.

Bentley also noted that Wallace State is the inaugural host for the state’s efforts through the business incubator system.

Look for additional details and photographs from the press conference throughout the day.
