CULLMAN — Three people were injured early this morning in a fire at Oak Ridge Apartments on U.S. Highway 278 West.
Cullman Fire Chief Edward Reinhardt said the identities of the three residents was unknown at this time, but all three were transported to Cullman Regional Medical Center with injuries ranging from burns to smoke inhalation.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. Reinhardt said the entire apartment complex was evacuated. One man was rescued by firefighters and city police officers from a balcony. The fire was reported at 2:20 a.m.
