A Cullman woman has been arrested for allegedly hitting another vehicle repeatedly, and pointing a gun at the driver, in April.
Tonya Beckmann, 37, was arrested for reckless endangerment and menacing after an unnamed individual had arrest warrants taken out on Beckmann following the incident at the intersection of County Road 223 and Ala. Highway 69 south that occurred on April 16, Cullman County Sheriff’s Office Major Scott Clay told The Times.
“They knew each other,” Clay said. “Beckmann hit the other individual’s vehicle which was at a stop sign multiple times. Then they pulled over to another location to talk and Beckmann pointed a gun at the other individual. Warrants were taken out on Beckmann afterward by the other driver.”
Beckmann was arrested and taken to the Cullman County Detention Center. She was released on two $1,000 bonds.
Both charges are Class-A misdemeanors. This case is still pending in Cullman County court.
