BREMEN — Volunteer firefighters from at least five departments are at the scene of a large fire in a wooded area near Bremen.
Fire trucks began arriving at the scene in the last 30 minutes near the old coal mine pits off County Road 8.
No structure were in danger, but firefighters from Cold Springs, Bremen, Colony, Good Hope, and Arkadelphia are on the scene.
The massive power outage that darkened south Cullman has been repaired.

Cullman Fire and Rescue responded to a house fire on 7th Street in Cullman at 10 p.m. Tuesday night and were able to contain it by 10:30 p.m.
