A local law enforcement task force arrested a Cullman man on two felony charges of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance at 5:45 p.m. on Monday night.
Kenneth Brad Royal, 30, was seen going into the 278 Rock store in Berlin on Monday and was arrested on two felony warrants by Cullman Narcotics Enforcement Team (CNET) agents.
“A while back, we got wind on him (Royal) selling narcotics and we were able to get two buys off of him with an undercover agent,” said a CNET agent, who cannot be named for safety reasons. “We had two warrants on him so when we spotted him going into the Rock grocery we were able to take him down and put him into custody.”
Royal was being held at the Cullman County Detention Center on a $60,000 bond, but bonded out Tuesday morning. The unlawful distribution charges are both Class-B felonies.
