Orchid show/sale: The second day of the Heart of Dixie Orchid Society’s annual orchid show/sale will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Huntsville Botanical Garden’s Boeing Education Room. Admission is free. Learn about orhids, how to grow them and which ones are best suited for you. Orchid plants and supplies will be for sale. County Board of Education: The Cullman County Board of Education will meet at 6:30 p.m. in the Cullman County Board of Education board room, 402 Arnold Street, Northeast, Cullman 35055; work session 5:30 p.m.
Iris/Daylily Society: The Cullman Iris and Daylily Society will meet at 5:30 p.m. at The Angler seafood restaurant at 3261 County Road 438, Cullman 35057. All interested may attend.
Master Gardeners: The Cullman County Master Gardeners will meet at 10 a.m. with lunch at 11 a.m. at the County Extension Conference Room, 402 Arnold St. NE, Cullman 35055. This is the St. Patrick’s Day celebration; meat provided. Bring covered dish to share, but if can’t, come anyway.
NAMI: The National Alliance on Mentall Illness will meet at 6:30 p.m. in Building 2 of the Mental Healthcare of Cullman, 1909 Commerce Ave. NW, Cullman 35055.
