Mock disaster drill today

CULLMAN — Cullman Regional Medical Center and Cullman Emergency Medical Services are conducting a mock disaster drill at Yutaka Technologies during the morning hours today as part of emergency preparedness training.

“We just want people to be aware of what’s going on so they won’t panic if they see a lot of activity in that area,” Cullman EMS Director Jerry Sellers said.

The county-wide drill is being hosted in conjunction with Cullman EMA, Cullman County Sheriff’s Department, Cullman Police Department, Cullman Fire Rescue, Alabama State Troopers, and Cullman County Rapid Responders.
