HANCEVILLE — All area citizens and veterans are invited to attend the City of Hanceville’s Veteran’s Day celebration today.

The event will be held at 11 a.m. in Veterans Memorial Park.

Featured during the event will be a dedication ceremony for a new park monument honoring all Purple Heart recipients and local resident and Purple Heart recipient George Mann, who is a veteran of World War II.
