Superintendents to speak at Friday luncheon

The Cullman Area Chamber of Commerce’s monthly Fourth Friday luncheon Friday will feature talks by the area’s two superintendents of education.

Billy Coleman, superintendent of Cullman County schools, and Dr. Jan Harris, superintendent of Cullman City Schools, will deliver assessments of their respective school systems. Both superintendents are also planning to discuss the future outlook for local schools.

“We’re expecting a great program today. This is a positive program because we have such schools across the area. I think everyone will enjoy hearing about their accomplishments and the plans for the future,” said Leah Bolin, interim president of the chamber of commerce.

The event gets under way at 11:30 a.m. at All Steak’s third floor with a time for networking. Lunch starts at noon and the program will conclude by 1 p.m.

Anyone interesting in attending may do so. Purchasing lunch is optional.
