CULLMAN — Cullman mayoral candidate Verna Hammons recently commented to the media that Times reporter Trent Moore omitted from his article published Tuesday, Aug. 14, comments she said she made regarding her appearance on The Jerry Springer show.
Hammons was given multiple opportunities by Moore and by Times Publisher Bill Morgan to comment on her Jerry Springer appearance and declined to do so. She was quoted fully and accurately in the published story, which, along with Moore's reporting, The Cullman Times stands fully behind.
