CULLMAN —
Autumn-like weather continues today and tonight as West Point prepares to take the field against Russellville in area high school football.
The 7 p.m. kickoff at West Point will find temperatures dipping into the low 50s.
Expect the trend to continue Friday, with the high reaching the low 80s and again falling into the 50s at night.

Excitement is building in Cullman County over an announcement that the Bass Fishing Hall of Fame is considering the area for its permanent home. Initial plans call for construction of a nearly $30 million building and other features on the city’s Burrow property.
Look for expanding details about this proposal and what Cullman needs to do to land the hall of fame.
The familiar sights and sounds of the fair are returning to Cullman County tonight. The 10-day event features a host of local talent and showcases some interesting aspects of the area’s agricultural community.
