Arrests made for meth production By Noah Chandler The Cullman Times A Cullman man was arrested and charged with unlawful manufacturing of a controlled substance on Oct. 6.
Cullman County Sheriff Tyler Roden said, officers from the Arab Police Department provided information about a possible methamphetamine lab on County Road 1822 in Joppa. Curtis Dade Kilpatrick, 31, of Cullman was arrested and charged with unlawful manufacturing of a controlled substance. According to Roden, Kilpatrick was out on bond in Marshall County for the same charge. Roden said, Corporal Ronnie Melton and Deputy Dan Hardy were the first to arrive at the residence. Upon arrival, Roden said, they observed a working meth lab sitting on the kitchen table, located inside the residence. “When deputies approached the residence they could see inside,” Roden said. “They found, in plain sight, a meth lab. The Cullman Narcotics Enforcement Team (CNET) was called out to process the scene. And the Joppa Volunteer Fire Department and the Cullman County Hazmat team were called out to assist with scene safety. I appreciate those two groups for coming out and assisting us, like they’ve done so much before.” Leann Lynette Parker, 31, of Arab was in the residence when deputies from the Cullman County Sheriff’s Office arrived. She was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. After being booked into the Cullman County Detention Center, Parker was released on a $1,000 property bond. Kilpatrick is currently being held at the Cullman County Detention Center on a $30,000 property bond.
