staff writer Cullman police arrested a local woman on a grand jury indictment Tuesday for her alleged involvement in a September meth manufacturing case. Samantha Elizabeth Adams, 20 of Cullman was arrested at a residence on Cherokee Avenue SW for unlawful manufacturing of a controlled substance in the second degree. According to police reports, Adams’ indictment and arrest stemmed from a meth bust on Sept. 6 at a residence on County Road 704. Michael Lee Pack, 25 and Bobby Earl Johnson, 33, both of Cullman, were arrested at the scene and charged with manufacturing of a controlled substance in the first degree. Reports indicate police arrested Pack and Johnson while they were allegedly in the middle of cooking meth. Members of the Cullman HAZMAT team were called to the scene to decontaminate the suspects and the arresting officers. Adams was not at the scene at the time of the initial arrests. After the incident, a follow-up investigation revealed Adams had allegedly helped Pack and Johnson make the meth by purchasing ingredients from different locations. Adams is incarcerated at the Cullman County Detention Center.
