Shouldn't name relatives

CULLMAN — I was very disappointed at what I read on the front page of The Cullman Times Friday morning, March 1. In reporting an arrest, why did you feel it necessary to point out the names of relatives?

All of our families have both strengths and weaknesses. Calling attention to the weakness in the family of another is neither kind or necessary.

Having been raised in a Christian home, I was taught to think before I spoke and to be kind in what I said to or about anyone else. Reporting facts is one thing, reporting unnecessary facts hurts people that should not be hurt.
