I would like to commend the workers of Cullman Electric Cooperative for restoring power quickly to Cullman County during the recent power outage. We were expecting to be without power much longer but due to hard work and long hours the workers restored our power in a timely manner.
Our electric bill reflects a fuel charge that was understandably added when the fuel cost was so high but now that fuel cost has dropped this fuel charge on our electric bill should be removed. During these times when we are having it hard just to make ends meet, why is the Cullman Electric Coop continuing to take advantage of us. This is just another way to put money in the pockets of the TVA.
