Charles Michael ‘Mike’ Easterwood Sr.

A private memorial service for Charles Michael “Mike” Easterwood Sr., 58, of Cullman is planned for the family at a later date.

Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Easterwood died Tuesday, Oct. 7, Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born Oct. 3, 1950, in Cullman to Charles Odis and Audie Lee Smith Easterwood.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents, William Louis and Murtis Shoemake Easterwood and Leo Nathan and Mattie Estella Mobley Smith; and a sister-in-law, Rachael Easterwood.

Survivors include his wife, Wanda Gilbreath Easterwood of Alaska; two sons, Charles Michael Easterwood Jr. of Mississippi and Jason Todd (Tanya) Easterwood of Hanceville; two brothers, Wallace Dale Easterwood and Louis Mitchell Easterwood, both of Hanceville; a sister, Jo Ann Easterwood (Joe) Brock of Cullman; six grandchildren, Andrew, Raigan, Fulton and Luke Easterwood, Kristin Lauren and Charles Michael Easterwood III; his mother-in-law, Lynn Hughes of Arizona; a sister-in-law, Sandy (Gene) Rodgers of Arizona; a special niece, Bethany (John) Harper of Hanceville; two nieces, Lori (Daniel) Yokley and Jennifer Rodgers; a nephew, Brent Easterwood; four aunts; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
