Funeral services for Jasper S. Harris, 83, of Cullman will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, 2008, at Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel, Bro. Jerry Freeman officiating, with burial in Oak Level Cemetery.

Moss-Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Harris died Wednesday, Sept. 3, at Floyd-Tut-Fann Veterans Home. He was born on Dec. 22, 1924, to Smith and Nora Peek Harris. He was in the trucking business.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy Harris; a son, Edward (Stella) Harris; two grandchildren, Patrick (Stephnie) Harris and Gidget (Steve) Forrester; five great-granddaughters, Alexandria and Taylor Harris, Aimee, Aaryn and Alaynna Forrester; four stepchildren, Martha (Alton) Comas, Wanda (Ralph) Puckett, Chris Reid and Randy (Lynn) Reid; eight stepgrandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Friday.
