— Funeral services for Mary Jo Bean, 74, of Cullman will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 17, 2008, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Tony Thomas officiating, with interment in Simcoe Methodist Cemetery.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Bean died Tuesday, May 13, at her residence. She was born July 22, 1933, in Tallasse, Ala., to Auther and Minnie Reeves Barnes. She was a homemaker and past president of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 10774 of Falkville. She was the mother of six veterans.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard Bean; a sister, Linda Gail Mansfield; and a brother, Edward Bartee Barnes.
Survivors include five sons, Kenneth (Marie) Bean, Norm (Mary) Estridge, Chris (Kelly) Bean, Homer Jack (Michelle) Bean and Alton Ray (Teresa) McBain; a daughter, Barbara Trigo; a brother, Lee Barnes; two sisters, Patricia Bostick and Willie Ann Reeves; 18 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
