Funeral services for Ezra Owen Palmer, 95, of Hanceville will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 15, 2008, at Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Donald Abbott and Bro. Robert Bromley officiating, with interment in Fairview West Cemetery in Hanceville.
Moss-Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Palmer passed away Sunday, May 11, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born Aug. 17, 1912, in Locust Fork to Iula and Clar Strandridge Palmer.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Dollie Motes Palmer; a son, Joseph Palmer; two grandchildren, Daniel Givens and Sandra Cordar; and a great-granddaughter.
Survivors include two sons, J.T. (Myra) Palmer and Frank (Dorothy) Palmer; seven daughters, Ozell Givens, Betty (Roy) Cordar, Olena (Jimmy) Quick, Hazel (Billy) Maddox, Rose (Harry) Weaver, Anna (Tom) Borie and Shirley (Randy) Palmer; three sisters, Berchie Cobb, Irene Terry and Bertie Mae Morrison; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
