Pets of the week: Hush Puppy and Andy

Cullman County Animal Shelter

— Hush Puppy:  I am a beautiful Bassett stray that is praying my family to come claim me very soon. I am much too sweet to stay be lost for long. I am estimated to be about 4 years old and I currently weigh 38.5 lbs.  I am now up to date on my vaccines. If no one claims me by 04/08/13 at 9 am, I will be put up for adoption at which time I will be microchipped, get my rabies vaccine and be neutered. If you are missing me or know someone who is, please call Candie or Kristina at Cullman Animal Shelter. They want to reunite me with my family as soon as possible. They can be reached at 256-734-5448.

Andy: (Not Pictured) I am about 4 years old and I am a Border Collie (possible mix). I have a white coat and I am great with other dogs and children. I weigh about 65 lbs right now. I am up to date on all my vaccines, neutered, microchipped and I will come with a 45 day free gift of health insurance. You will also receive a training DVD (while supplies last), toys and a welcome gift from the Shelter. Also, our local Pet Depot will give you a free bag of food (you pay the taxes only) as an incentive for you to adopt.  I do not do well around livestock (my reason for being surrendered) so I will need a home free of horses, cattle, goats or other livestock. I am very intelligent and will make a wonderful pet for someone. Please call or come by the shelter to meet me. I look forward to finding my new forever home very soon. Cullman County Animal Shelter Adoption hours are 9 – 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at the shelter. Off site adoptions are at Pet Depot and Tractor Supply every Saturday from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. Cats are for adoption all the time at Pet Depot.
