CULLMAN —
Fall may be in the air, but spring is on the minds of prospective brides all across the land. For this group of ladies, spring seems just around the corner. Now is the time to order dresses for attendants — and also, flowers, cakes and gifts. Booking a caterer and nailing down a venue are two essentials, leaving this until the last minute spells disaster.
Fourtunately, Wallace State Community College, in conjunction with Stonebridge Farms, has selected the best of the best of all the latest fashions, food, flowers and fun. The upcoming “With This Ring” bridal show is sure to give you fresh ideas for the wedding of your dreams. Brides will find many area boutiques, florists, caterers and photographers, and other professionals in one location for their convenience.
“With This Ring” will make its debut Sept. 11, 2011, from 1 to 4 p.m. at Stonebridge Farms, just outside Cullman. Located in a lovely country setting, amidst gently rolling hills with magnificent views and a manor house, chapel and reception area fit for a princess, this is sure to inspire everyone and help brides get in the mood for that special day.
Attendees are in for an exciting afternoon, with a runway bridal fashion show, carriage rides around the property, door prizes, samples of scrumptious wedding fare, and even a sample wedding, presented by The Something Blue Bridal Shop and Shoefisticated, of Hartselle, and Werner’s Trading Company, Mr. Hicks Menswear, Avenue Bridal, and Just for Looks, of Cullman.
This preview wedding will consist of shower and party attire, bridal gowns, tuxedos, bridal attendants, honeymoon attire, and accessories.
Of course, weddings in the South are famous for the elegant and artistically-designed food presentation. Caterers and cake artists will share samplings of food. There will be a carving station, a dessert station, a fruit and cheese station, and a beverage station for attendees to sample.
Cool Shots Photo Booth will take photos of each bride-to-be as a keepsake and she will also receive a copy of Get Married magazine.
