The Ms. Senior Cullman County Pageant will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, at the Betty Leeth Haynes Theatre on the campus of Wallace State Community College. Cost is $5/person. Here is a list of this year’s contests.
Barbara has 4 children, 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Barbara was employed at the Talladega County Health Department as a home health aide. She has received recognition from the State Health Department for her work. She enjoys sewing and making quilt for her family. She enjoys yard sales and thrift stores. She loves to read, especially the Bible. Barbara likes to travel and garden.
Mary Ann Bolinger
Mary Ann Bolinger is married to Ruben Bolinger and has 4 daughters, 3 stepsons, 19 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She has been an office manager for over 25 years. She is currently employed at Morningside Assisted Living in Cullman. She plays guitar, teaches the young adult Sunday school class and loves to sing bluegrass gospel music. She has a nursing home and assisted living music ministry.
Joan Burleson has 2 children and 2 grandchildren. Joan is involved in the historical society, dream center, Grace’s Place for Abused Women and Children. She is also an Octoberfest volunteer. She was employed with Federal Express as a control agent. She was the recipient of the Federal Express 5 Star Award. Joan has also worked as a floral designer and with radio advertisement as a salesperson. She loves to travel and has been to Germany and all over the U.S.
Faye Harris has 5 children, 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Faye was a stay at home mom who was always doing whatever one of her 5 children volunteered her for, whether it was baking cookies or being a room mom. Her first job outside her home was a door greeter at the Hanceville Nursing Home where she worked until she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She had to quit her job but is now cancer free. She likes quilting, bird watching, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren.
