HANCEVILLE —
Taylor Quick of Cullman is Wallace State Community College’s 2013 Homecoming Queen. She was crowned queen during the college’s basketball games against Snead State over the weekend.
Quick, a sophomore majoring in business administration, was elected Homecoming Queen by her Wallace State peers during a two-day vote at the Student Center, which also decided the Homecoming Court. Quick is active on campus, serving as the Student Government Association’s Vice President and as a college ambassador. She was also recently inducted into Sigma Kappa Delta, the college’s English Honor Society, and plans to eventually transfer to Auburn University, where she’ll pursue a double major in agricultural business and agricultural communications.
Quick was crowned by 2012 Homecoming Queen Jessica Simpson.
Patton Short of Cullman, a biology major and SGA treasurer, was named first alternate. Niya Cammack, a massage therapy/PTA major from Birmingham, and Alex St. John, a Fast Track student and Dean’s List member from Cullman completed the homecoming court.
