CULLMAN — The West Point High School Class of 1962 held their 50th reunion July 28, 2012 at West Point Town Hall. The class members were welcomed by WPHS band director, Jody Bryant, and some of the band members. To add to the festivities, the drumline cadenced as class members walked into the hall. Opening ceremonies included the class singing and the band playing the school alma mater. Classmates followed a program of scheduled activities which included welcoming back former teachers: Mildred Terrell, Sue and Lecil Smith, Edward and Dottie Henke, and Carol Patterson.
West Point High School pageant winners
The West Point High School pageant was held March 2 at the middle school. All proceeds benefit the school. Three categories, from sixth to eighth grades, gave eight winners.
