CULLMAN — President Steve Cartee, Cullman Lions Club, recently presented the Melvin Jones Fellowship Award to Lion David Bussman. Bussman held most all local offices and served as president from 2010-11. He participated in all projects conducted by the club during his 12 years of membership. Among those, he worked at the Lions concession stand at the fairgrounds and helped remodel the building/furnishings. He contributed not only his own time, but that of his employees to accomplish this task. He also helped with improvements of the livestock barn. This award is the highest one bestowed by the Lions Club International.
