Sacred Heart's snowflakes for Sandy Hook project

CULLMAN — The Gamma Phi Beta Sorority, Epsilon Lambda Chapter, of the University of Alabama, in conjunction with the Gamma Phi Beta representative of Campfire USA has taken on a service project at the request of the Sandy Hook Elementary School PTA to make snowflakes for the school to brighten things up when the children return to school after the first of the year. Sacred Heart School students and staff gladly took on the challenge to make snowflakes for this project. The hope is the halls will be turned into a winter wonderland for the children returning to the site of the horrific tragedy from Dec. 14. As part of Sacred Heart’s mission to serve as Jesus served, we are honored to serve our fellow students and teachers in Connecticut.
