VFW Post 2214 serves as color guard during pageant

CULLMAN — Members of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2214, performed as color guard for the 2012 Ms. Senior Cullman County Feb. 4. Members were posted in the center aisle. At 2 p.m., the music started with the songs of the U.S. Armed Forces: Army, Marines, Navy, Coast Guard and Air Force. During this time, the color guard marched down the aisle and up onto the stage, where they then presented the flags for the Pledge of Allegiance to the American Flag. The VFW has performed this service for this function in the past.
