Cullman Lions Club

CULLMAN — At a recent meeting of the Cullman Lions, the Vinemont Leo Club presented a program on the projects that they had completed or were presently participating in. The Leo Club is a school-based service club that is sponsored by a local Lions Club. This club gives the members to experience the feeling of giving their services to their school and community. The Club helped with their presence at the recent Cullman County Agricultural Fair. A donation of $250 was given to the president, Destiny Lansford, and faculty advisor, Brandy Jett, by the Cullman Fair Association. During the program, Jett mentioned that Vinemont High School had some physical needs to help in the teaching of the students and that they were raising money to help fund these projects. She stated that helping in this manner gave members a sense of direct accomplishment. She also reminded the Cullman Lions that these students are “America Tomorrow”. The Cullman Lions Club donated $1,000 to the Vinemont High School Leo Club to help with these worthwhile school projects.
